Louisville Slugger made this fastpitch bat with contact hitters in mind! The X12 is balanced with a -12 length to weight ratio, so players are in control as they swing through the zone. Constructed as a 2-piece, 100% composite bat that gives you extreme performance in the barrel upon contact with very limited vibration to the hands. The X12 is approved for softball play with its 1.20 BPF USSSA, ASA and NSA stamps inked right on the handle!

  • Cons: This is NOT A XENO! It says it is made from the same composite material, however it dose not pop or sound like a XENO. Still a good bat for smaller players. Maybe after a "break in" period it will produce more pop, but for now it is strictly a base knock bat.

  • How would you compare the X12 to the CF6?

  • The CF6 being a heavier bat will allow for more force creating more distance of the ball. The both the X12 and the CF6 are high quality bats and it will be determined if you want a minus 12 or minus 10/11 bat.

  • My older daughter has a CF7 and the new Xeno -11. Love them both. Im looking for a bat for my younger daughter. She is not ready for a -11. Looking closer to a -12. How does the X12 compare to the xeno? ?

  • The X12 may fit your daughter better being a lighter weighted bat but will lack some of the performance as it uses a lower grade composite compared to the Xeno.
