  • Not sure which Easton Surge bat you are referring to but if it is the standard alloy BBCOR Surge bat this will be quite a bit different. The Easton Surge BBCOR bat has a composite handle and an alloy barrel. The Easton Mako Comp BBCOR Maple wood bat has a composite covered wood handle and a maple wood barrel.
