Pros: I have bought the Diamond DOL-1 baseballs from CheapBats.com for years. I order by the case and they have the best price hands down and free shipping. The DOL1 can be used as a game ball, but we usually use it for practice only, unless we are low on D1 Pros. The Diamond DOL-1 is not some cheap baseball that will only last a week; You should get a whole season of practice no problem.

Pros: High quality. Great feel and performance for a relatively low price. I purchased these in order to have good quality practice balls. But, we have used this model of Diamond for years in league play. (
Cons: Not as water resistant as some of the synthetic covers, but who wants those?
Pros: Fast shipping. Quality ball. We use these for our adult league games and they hold up well especially for the price. After games we use them as practice balls and hold up for the rest of the year and use them to practice the next year as well. Great price if you buy in bulk. I buy 12 dozen.
Cons: They get dirty, but for game use for one game (4 balls a game) they are great.
Should I get this as a practice baseball? Is there any other practice ball you would suggest?

The Diamond DOL-1 is one of the best practice baseballs made. Also, because of the NFHS stamp, the DOL-1 is approved for High School use. If you wanted a less expensive baseball, the Diamond D-OB Official Baseball is an option, but they will not last as long as the DOL-1 baseball.
