Hand opening: Rawlings Contour Fit ("U" models) and most youth gloves use a narrower wrist for smaller hands.

Frequently asked questions

11.5" or 11.75"? 11.5" for second base and shortstop; 11.75" if you also play third or want a little more pocket.

Is 11.5" too big for a 10-year-old? Usually not if it is a youth model (Sure Catch, Select Pro Lite, Prospect) with a small hand opening. An adult 11.5" Heart of the Hide is too heavy for most 10-year-olds.
