12.5" is where outfield gloves start: a deeper pocket and longer fingers to reach and hold a fly ball. This page is every in-stock 12.5" baseball glove and first base mitt we carry, including the Rawlings Heart of the Hide 3028 pattern, Mizuno Pro Select and Franchise, Marucci Krewe and Acadia, Easton Tournament Elite, and the Rawlings NXT, Renegade and Sandlot for younger outfielders.

Most high school and adult outfielders play a 12.5" or 12.75"; the 12.75" patterns are on the Heart of the Hide page. Twelve-and-a-half is also the common size for a 12.5" first base mitt, which is why a few mitts appear here.

12.5" Baseball Gloves

Outfield web choice: H-web and trapeze webs are the outfield standards; they are deep, flexible and let you see through the glove on a ball in the sun. A basket web works too but is heavier.

Leather grade: pro-grade (Heart of the Hide, Pro Select, Krewe) for players who play every day; pre-broken-in (R9, MVP Prime, Franchise, Acadia) for players 12 to 15 or rec adults.

12.5" vs. 12.75": the quarter inch is mostly finger length. Bigger hands and centerfielders go 12.75"; corner outfielders and smaller players are fine at 12.5".
