Description
The CM3500TM is All Star's Anvil, a weighted catcher's mitt built on the standard 33.5" pattern. All Star adds more than two pounds of weight, spread evenly across the thumb and pinky pads, and the result is weight training for the small muscles of the wrist, arm and shoulder that receiving and transfers depend on.
The idea came from pro catching coach Tim Cossins, who saw catchers training in wrist weights and wanted the weight in the mitt itself. Use it for receiving and transfer work; when you switch back to a game mitt, it feels light. Right-hand throw.
