Description
Vanta is a limited-edition colorway of Marucci's CATX, the one-piece alloy BBCOR. Marucci's tagline for it was "Blackest Black = Fastest Fast." Underneath the finish is the standard CATX: AZR alloy with a three-stage thermal treatment, a ring-free barrel built with a multi-variable wall design, and a precision-balanced barrel with a lower moment of inertia for a quick, controllable swing. The paint doesn't add performance — this is the CATX in white and black, and we'll say so.
The CATX earns its reputation on feel. Marucci's patent-pending Liquid-Gel Dampening Knob absorbs vibration at the bottom hand, the handle taper is sized to each drop, and the micro-perforated soft-touch grip keeps the hands set. 2 5/8" barrel, -3, BBCOR .50 for high school and college (also Little League Intermediate and Junior), one-year Marucci warranty.
