Description
This is the CATX -5 USSSA in Marucci's limited-edition Vanta colorway. Under the black and white it is the standard CATX alloy: AZR alloy with a three-stage thermal treatment, a ring-free barrel built with a multi-variable wall design, and production tolerances tight enough that Marucci can build the barrel to the maximum diameter the rules allow. It's balanced, which matters at -5 — the extra weight sits evenly instead of out at the end.
The Liquid-Gel Dampening Knob takes vibration out of the bottom hand, the handle taper is sized for the -5, and the grip is micro-perforated soft-touch. 2 3/4" barrel, USSSA 1.15 BPF, one-year Marucci warranty. Closeout — 30" and 32" remain.
