Description
The F5 is Marucci's one-piece, all-alloy bat, and this -5 is the version USSSA 13U requires. Marucci machines the barrel with a multi-variable wall design — thinner walls in an expanded sweet spot, so contact off the center of the barrel is more forgiving — and builds it ring-free, with no internal ring to create a dead spot or restrict flex. The swing weight is precision balanced, which is why the F5 has always been the Marucci bat you hand a hitter who wants to swing a -5 without feeling it.
It comes game-ready with no break-in, wrapped in Marucci's micro-perforated soft-touch grip for extra tack. This is the earlier-generation F5 (the MSBF53 series) sold at closeout — a 2 5/8" barrel with the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp and a one-year Marucci warranty, at a price well under what the current F5 sells for.
