Description
This is the fourth-generation F5 in its -5 senior-league version. Marucci builds the F5 as a one-piece, all-aluminum bat with a multi-variable wall design — thinner walls through an expanded sweet spot, so contact off the center of the barrel is more forgiving — and a ring-free barrel with no internal ring to create dead spots. It swings balanced, which keeps a -5 manageable for a hitter coming up from a -8.
The 2 5/8" barrel is the same diameter as a BBCOR bat, so the F5 -5 also works as a bridge to high-school baseball: the same barrel size, two ounces lighter. Micro-perforated soft-touch grip, USSSA 1.15 BPF (NTS), sizes 30" to 32", teal and white, one-year Marucci warranty.
