The Mizuno Pro MZP41 is hand-selected, professional-grade maple crafted in Mizuno's own factory in Yoro, Japan — the same shop that turns bats for Mizuno's pros on both sides of the Pacific. Every Mizuno Pro bat follows professional baseball requirements for logo size and straightness of grain, including the ink dot test. The MZP41 is built off Victor Martinez's popular game model and finished natural.

Does a wood bat have a warranty?
No — wood bats carry no breakage warranty from any manufacturer, including this one. Hitting with the label up or down (grain facing the pitcher) and avoiding cage balls in cold weather is the best protection.
Maple, ash or birch?
Maple is the hardest and densest — the most pop and the most popular, but it can shatter on a bad mishit. Ash is lighter with more flex and the traditional feel; it flakes rather than snaps. Birch sits between the two: nearly as hard as maple with some of ash's flex, and it gets harder as you hit with it.
Is it covered by a warranty?
Yes — a full no warranty Mizuno manufacturer warranty against breakage and defects, honored through us as an authorized dealer.
