Easton builds the 2027 Hype Fire around its TCT composite barrel, shaped to push the usable hitting area wider so the ball you catch two inches off the end still leaves with something on it. The barrel rides a slight mid-load that keeps mass behind contact without giving up whip, and the ConneXion Max elastomer joint locks handle to barrel so a jammed swing sends less buzz to your hands. Easton also tunes the Opti-Flex handle stiffness separately for each length, so the 31" and the 34" flex the way their hitters actually load. At -3 it's aimed at varsity hitters who already square balls up and want the barrel to do the arguing. Available in 30"/27oz, 31"/28oz, 32"/29oz, 33"/30oz, 34"/31oz. It carries the BBCOR .50 stamp required for high school (NFHS) and college (NCAA) play.
