Description
Capitol is Marucci's premium glove line, and the difference starts with the leather: Japanese-tanned USA kip, chosen for structure with a light feel, over a palm lined in cabretta sheepskin, Marucci's highest-grade lining. The finger linings are genuine leather, the laces are professional-grade rawhide, and the wrist is lined with moisture-wicking mesh over dual-density memory foam.
This is the 53A2, an 11.5" infield pattern with an I-web and a medium-depth pocket, built on Marucci's M Type fit system with integrated thumb and pinky sleeves and extra cushioning in the thumb stall. It's a closeout, stocked in right-hand throw.

How much break-in does it need?
Some. Kip is lighter than steerhide but still premium, stiff leather, so plan on a couple of weeks of catch to shape the pocket.
Is 11.5" the right size?
11.5" is a classic middle-infield size for high-school and adult players. Third basemen often go 11.75".
Do you have it in left-hand throw?
