The 2027 Hype Fire brings Easton's TCT composite barrel to USSSA play in a full 2 3/4" profile. The layup is tuned to stretch the sweet spot toward the end cap, so the inevitable off-center contact of a long tournament weekend still produces playable balls. A low-MOI build keeps the swing light and quick, the ConneXion Max elastomer joint takes the sting out of inside pitches, and the Opti-Flex handle is flexed specifically to each length rather than shared across the run. The -5 is the bridge bat — heavier swing weight that gets a 13U/14U hitter's hands ready for BBCOR. Available in 30"/25oz, 31"/26oz, 32"/27oz. It carries the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp required for travel and tournament ball.
