Marucci BBCOR Bats

(20 products)

Marucci BBCOR bats are built around the CAT: the one-piece alloy that has been the most popular BBCOR bat in high school baseball for most of the last decade. The current CAT X2 comes in one-piece alloy, Connect (alloy barrel, composite handle) and Composite versions, alongside the F5 (Marucci's value alloy), the Code (two-piece), the Fractal and the RCKLESS one-piece.

Every Marucci BBCOR is -3, 2 5/8" and BBCOR .50 certified, in 30" to 34" including half sizes. Prices run from about $80 for a closeout F5 or CAT America to $400 for the CAT X2 Composite, and Marucci's prior-year CATs are the deepest closeout BBCOR rack on the site. A few listings are new floor models with a small scuff, marked in the size dropdown at a discount.

Marucci BBCOR Bats

Which CAT? The one-piece CAT X2 is the stiffest, most direct-feeling bat in the line and the one most hitters mean when they say "the CAT." The CAT X2 Connect adds a composite handle to take the sting out of mishits while keeping the alloy barrel; it is the pick for players who complain about hand pain. The CAT X2 Composite is the two-piece all-composite, balanced, with the biggest sweet spot and a break-in period.

F5 is the budget Marucci: a one-piece alloy that hits like a CAT from a few years back at less than half the price. Code is a two-piece composite for hitters who like a whippy feel; Fractal is a balanced two-piece hybrid.

Marucci backs every bat with a one-year warranty, and every CAT ships with Marucci's ring-free multi-variable wall design, which is their way of saying the barrel has no dead spots.
