Real leather sized for young fastpitch players — easy closure and a tapered fit for developing softball infielders and outfielders. The MFG2CDFP115-W/LP is an 11.5" pattern Basket Web glove built for fastpitch softball outfielders and pitchers, with a full-grain cowhide leather shell with reinforced, lightweight panels and true-feel synthetic palm lining plus fleece finger lining. The FP Tapered fit and S Type hand stall keep it secure and comfortable, and it is available in right-hand and left-hand throw.

How much break-in does it need?
A few days of catch. The leather is pre-conditioned and most players are gaming it within a week.
Is 11.5" the right size?
11.5" is an infield pattern. As a guide: infield 11.25" to 11.75", pitcher and utility 11.75" to 12", outfield 12.5" to 12.75", catcher's mitts 32" to 34", first base 12.5" to 13". Fastpitch patterns run a quarter inch bigger than baseball for the 12" ball. Buy the size that fits now, not the one to grow into.
