The MFG3MG45A5FP-W/CB is a 12" pattern Braided Post glove built for fastpitch softball infielders, with a Japanese-tanned steerhide leather (back and palm) and Cabretta sheepskin palm and finger lining. The FP Pro fit and M Type hand stall keep it secure and comfortable, and it is right-hand throw.

How much break-in does it need?
Two to four weeks of catch — this is pro-grade leather that is stiff on purpose and holds its pocket for years. A little glove conditioner on the pocket and laces helps; skip the oven, microwave and shaving cream.
Is 12" the right size?
12" is an utility pattern. As a guide: infield 11.25" to 11.75", pitcher and utility 11.75" to 12", outfield 12.5" to 12.75", catcher's mitts 32" to 34", first base 12.5" to 13". Fastpitch patterns run a quarter inch bigger than baseball for the 12" ball. Buy the size that fits now, not the one to grow into.
Do you have it in left-hand throw?
This model is stocked in right-hand throw only. Wherever Marucci makes a left-hand version we list it as a separate Hand option.
