2024 Mizuno Finch 24 Fastpitch Softball Bat -13oz (340663) — Jennie Finch's lightweight -13 alloy — a first real fastpitch bat for young players
Description
The Finch 24 comes out of Mizuno's collaboration with Jennie Finch, a line designed around what a young softball player actually needs from a bat: light weight, a forgiving barrel and a price that makes sense for a season or two. It is built from MZ-2200+ alloy in a lightweight, durable one-piece design, with a 2 1/4" barrel and a -13 drop that puts a 28" bat at 15 ounces — light enough for an 8- to 10-year-old to swing through the zone instead of pushing the bat at the ball. Mizuno wraps it in its Speed-Helix grip, finishes it in a black-iridescent colorway and stamps it for every fastpitch association: USA Softball (ASA), USSSA, NSA, ISA and WBSC/ISF. Sizes run 27" through 33", with a one-year Mizuno warranty. It is not a high-end composite and doesn't pretend to be; it is the bat that gets a young hitter through her first seasons of kid pitch with a proper alloy in her hands.
