The PRODCTSB-10CCB brings Heart of the Hide craftsmanship to a fastpitch-specific 13-inch first base pattern. Full-grain HOH leather with a shell leather palm lining gives this mitt a firm, responsive feel that breaks in to the exact shape of your hand. The Single Post Double Bar web creates a deep, secure pocket built for scooping low throws and controlling the short hops that decide games at the corner. An adjustable pull-strap back and thermoformed wrist liner lock in your fit without sacrificing reach or range. Ready out of the wrapper — peaks after 150–200 games of break-in. Available in right- and left-hand throw.

How much break-in does it need?
Two to four weeks of catch — this is pro-grade leather that is stiff on purpose and holds its pocket for years. A little glove conditioner on the pocket and laces helps; skip the oven, microwave and shaving cream.
Is 13" the right size?
13" is a first base pattern. As a guide: infield 11.25" to 11.75", pitcher and utility 11.75" to 12", outfield 12.5" to 12.75", catcher's mitts 32" to 34", first base 12.5" to 13". Fastpitch patterns run a quarter inch bigger than baseball for the 12" ball. Buy the size that fits now, not the one to grow into.
