Rawlings Heart of the Hide Fastpitch Softball Glove 11.5" PRO204SB-2CC — 11.5" infield pattern, Pro I web, Right-hand throw.
Description
This 11.5" cut is built for infield speed: a shallower pocket that lets you find the ball instantly and get rid of it faster. The Pro I web gives infielders the fast, shallow-pocket transfer the position demands. Some gloves are bought; Heart of the Hide gloves tend to be inherited. Rawlings reserves the top five percent of its steerhides for this line, which is why an HOH holds its pocket long after cheaper leather has gone soft. Underneath: Cowhide Palm lining, a conventional back. Cut on a pro fit. It breaks in slow and honest, and it holds the shape you give it for years. Available right-hand throw only.

FAQ
How much break-in does it need?
Two to four weeks of catch — this is pro-grade leather that is stiff on purpose and holds its pocket for years. A little glove conditioner on the pocket and laces helps; skip the oven, microwave and shaving cream.
Is 11.5" the right size?
11.5" is an infield pattern. As a guide: infield 11.25" to 11.75", pitcher and utility 11.75" to 12", outfield 12.5" to 12.75", catcher's mitts 32" to 34", first base 12.5" to 13". Fastpitch patterns run a quarter inch bigger than baseball for the 12" ball. Buy the size that fits now, not the one to grow into.
Do you have it in left-hand throw?
This model is stocked in right-hand throw only. Wherever Rawlings makes a left-hand version we list it as a separate Hand option.
