Rawlings Shut Out Fastpitch Softball Glove 11.5"
Rawlings Shut Out Fastpitch Softball Glove 11.5" RSO115W — full grain leather, 11.5" infield pattern, closed, Right-hand throw.
Description
Rawlings builds the Shut Out for the fastpitch family buying two of everything: real leather shells, softball patterns and pull-strap backs without the boutique price. The closed basket web forms a deep, secure pocket — favored by pitchers hiding grips and players who want the ball to stay caught. At 11.5" it is built for infield speed: a shallower pocket that lets you find the ball instantly and get rid of it faster. Underneath: a full grain leather shell, an adjustable pull strap back. Cut on a narrow fit. Serious enough for travel ball, sane enough for rec. Available right-hand throw only.

FAQ
How much break-in does it need?
A few days of catch. The leather is pre-conditioned and most players are gaming it within a week.
Is 11.5" the right size?
11.5" is an infield pattern. As a guide: infield 11.25" to 11.75", pitcher and utility 11.75" to 12", outfield 12.5" to 12.75", catcher's mitts 32" to 34", first base 12.5" to 13". Fastpitch patterns run a quarter inch bigger than baseball for the 12" ball. Buy the size that fits now, not the one to grow into.
Do you have it in left-hand throw?
This model is stocked in right-hand throw only. Wherever Rawlings makes a left-hand version we list it as a separate Hand option.
