Why a Lizard Skins grip?

It stays tacky, wet or dry

DSP stands for Durable Soft Polymer. It has a slightly tacky surface, an oval pattern and multi-directional ridges that hold your hands in place through the swing whether it’s a humid July doubleheader or a wet April morning. Because the bat isn’t sliding, hitters stop death-gripping the handle — looser hands, quicker bat.

It takes the sting out

The polymer absorbs vibration on off-barrel contact instead of sending it into your hands. The thicker the grip, the more it dampens: 1.8 mm is the most cushion, 1.1 mm is the all-around favorite and our best seller, and 0.5 mm is the pro choice for wood bats when you want to feel everything.

It lasts

The reformulated DSP holds its texture season after season, and the premium adhesive keeps it locked to the handle instead of creeping or unraveling like a worn stock wrap. Every roll is 990 mm / 39 in with pre-cut ends and a finishing strip, and it fits wood, composite or aluminum.

The Gridlock for senior ball – an X2A SR barrel tuned for SSUSA play with a BH load and high-flex two-piece feel.

The 2026 Marucci Gridlock Sublime Lime is the senior-league member of the Gridlock family, built for SSUSA play. Its 12.75" barrel runs X2A SR barrel technology – the senior-tuned version of Marucci's X2A design – wrapped in a two-piece composite build that flexes through the zone and takes the shock out of mishits. The BH load shifts weight toward the barrel for extra momentum, and Modulated Handle Technology (MHT) in a High Flex profile adds whip for hitters who generate power with timing and barrel speed. Finished in black with sublime lime and white cracked-grid graphics, offered in 34"/25, 26, 27, and 27.5 oz, and certified for SSUSA and ISA senior play. Like all senior slowpitch bats, it carries no manufacturer warranty.
