Slowpitch Softball Gloves

(52 products)

Slowpitch gloves are the biggest gloves in the game, 12.5" to 15", with deep pockets for a 12" ball hit hard. Rawlings makes the Player Preferred, RSB, Renegade and a Heart of the Hide slowpitch pattern; Easton the Tantrum and Prime series and a Professional Collection slowpitch glove; Miken the Pro Series (Freak Gold, White Gold, Black Gold), Player Series and Pro Series mitts; Mizuno the Premier and MVP Prime; Worth the Player and Freedom series. First base mitts for slowpitch are here too.

Most slowpitch players wear a 13" to 14" glove; infielders sometimes go 12.5", outfielders 14" to 15". Prices run from about $50 to $330, and every glove ships free. Shop by brand: Miken, Easton, Rawlings, Mizuno, Worth.

Slowpitch Softball Gloves

Size for slowpitch

  • Infield: 12.5" to 13". A slowpitch infielder needs a glove that closes fast on a hard one-hopper.
  • Outfield: 14" to 15". Length and a deep pocket for balls in the gap.
  • Utility and pitcher: 13" to 13.5".
  • First base: 13" mitt.

The lines

Miken's Pro Series (Freak Gold, White Gold, Black Gold) is the slowpitch glove you see most in tournament play: full-grain leather, pre-oiled, a big basket web. The Player Series is the lighter, cheaper version. Easton's Tantrum gloves match the Tantrum bats and come in 13" to 15" in several colorways; Prime is Easton's value slowpitch glove. Rawlings Player Preferred and RSB are soft, game-ready gloves at the low end of the price range, and the slowpitch Heart of the Hide is the pro-grade option for players who want a glove that lasts a decade. Mizuno MVP Prime and Premier and the Worth Player and Freedom series round out the wall.

Break-in: every glove here except the Heart of the Hide is built to be game-ready within a few days.
