Softball Catchers Mitts

A catcher's mitt for softball has to swallow a 12" ball, so it runs bigger and deeper than a baseball mitt: 32.5" to 33" for youth, 33" to 34" for high school and adult, 35" for the biggest target. This is the fastpitch mitt wall: All Star Heiress, Future Star and PHX, Marucci Caddo, Cypress, Ascension, Oxbow, Palmetto and Acadia, Mizuno MVP Prime and Prospect, Rawlings Liberty Advanced, and the Easton Jen Schro line.

The Heiress is the mitt most college catchers wear; the Liberty Advanced and Cypress are the other pro-grade choices; the Future Star, Prospect and Jen Schro Fundamental are game-ready mitts for younger catchers. Prices run from about $60 to $300, and every mitt ships free. The same mitts are listed under fastpitch catcher's mitts, and matching gear is in fastpitch catcher's gear sets.
