The Easton Prime Slowpitch Series contains custom patterns featuring a wider heel and deeper pocket, specifically for softball players. Crafted with a game-ready oil-tanned leather palm and web, as well as rawhide laces for long-lasting use, these gloves boast a super soft palm lining for enhanced grip and control. Moreover, the patterns are tailored for optimal pocket depth and impact resistance. The pinkie loop has also been modified to comfortably fit two fingers in the pinkie stall. How much break-in does it need?
A few days of catch. The leather is pre-conditioned and most players are gaming it within a week.
Is 14" the right size?
14" is an outfield pattern. As a guide: infield 11.25" to 11.75", pitcher and utility 11.75" to 12", outfield 12.5" to 12.75", catcher's mitts 32" to 34", first base 12.5" to 13". Buy the size that fits now, not the one to grow into.
