What makes the Vibe different

VXP aluminum alloy

Every Vibe baseball bat is a one-piece, 100% VXP aluminum alloy build. Victus's pitch for VXP is more pop and longer barrel life than a standard alloy, and because it is one piece of metal there is no connection to break in: the bat is ready out of the wrapper and plays the same in April as it does in July.

Ringless barrel with multi-variable wall thickness

Most alloy bats use an internal ring to control where the barrel flexes. The Vibe skips the ring and instead varies the wall thickness along the barrel, which gives a thinner, more flexible sweet spot and a barrel that feels bigger than the 2 5/8" (BBCOR, USA) or 2 3/4" (USSSA) diameter suggests.

Vibration-reducing knob and custom handle taper

The knob is designed to soak up the feedback from off-center contact and it flows straight into a custom-tapered handle. Combined with the micro-perforated soft-touch grip, this is why parents of young hitters like the Vibe: it is a one-piece alloy that does not punish the hands.

Mid-balanced swing weight

The baseball Vibes carry a mid-balanced, medium M.O.I. swing weight. It is quick enough for a contact hitter to control and has enough barrel for a stronger kid to drive the ball, which is why the same bat sells across every age group.

Slowpitch Vibe: CompStax, V1.2 and Carbon Eclipse barrels

The softball Vibes are composite, not alloy. The USA model uses CompStax ZERO-G, a two-piece barrel where a soft outer wall wraps a suspended inner barrel. The USSSA Vibe 36 uses a high-flex V1.2 composite layup, and the senior SSUSA models run CompStax SR1 or Carbon Eclipse SRtwo tuned for the senior game. All of them get Dynamic Handle Technology (DHT) to cut vibration and are offered with Ya-Ya, No-No or Big Big Boy end weighting.

Which Vibe should you buy

• Tee ball and coach pitch – -11 and -10 – 2 5/8" barrel – first bats for the youngest players; Crayon colorways are the popular pick here.
• USA Baseball – -10 – 2 5/8" barrel – Little League, Pony, Cal Ripken, Babe Ruth, AABC and Dixie; the standard Vibe USA, the Black Pencil and the Crayon are all the same bat under the paint.
• USSSA – -10, -8, -5 – 2 3/4" barrel, 1.15 BPF – travel ball. Go -10 for most 8 to 11 year olds, -8 for a stronger 11 to 12 year old, -5 for a 13U player getting ready for BBCOR.
• BBCOR – -3 – 2 5/8" barrel – high school and college. The standard Vibe, the Pencil and the Crayon are all BBCOR .50 certified.
• USA Softball (ASA) slowpitch – 34" at 25 to 27 oz – Vibe 14 and Vibe Patriot, two-piece composite with a Ya-Ya load.
• USSSA slowpitch – 34" at 25 to 27 oz – Vibe 36, one-piece composite with a Ya-Ya load.
• SSUSA senior slowpitch – 34" at 25.5 to 27.5 oz – Vibe 44 (Big Big Boy load) and the No-No Load model, both SSUSA and ISA approved.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Victus Vibe legal for my league? Check the stamp on the bat you pick. The BBCOR Vibes carry the BBCOR .50 mark for high school and NCAA, the USSSA Vibes carry the 1.15 BPF stamp, and the USA Vibes carry the USA Baseball stamp. The slowpitch Vibes are stamped USA Softball (ASA), USSSA or SSUSA depending on the model, and the senior bats also carry ISA.

Does the Vibe need a break-in? No. The baseball Vibes are one-piece alloy and are at full performance out of the wrapper. The composite slowpitch Vibes break in quickly; the V1.2 barrel on the Vibe 36 in particular is built to perform from the first swing.

What drop should my player use? For USSSA, most 8 to 11 year olds swing a -10, an 11 to 12 year old with some strength moves to a -8, and a -5 is the step before BBCOR. USA Baseball Vibes are -10 only. If a player is between sizes, take the lighter bat: swing speed matters more than an extra ounce.

What is the difference between the Vibe, the Pencil and the Crayon? Nothing structural. The Pencil (No. 2 pencil graphics) and the Crayon (solid crayon colors with the black wrapper stripes) are the same VXP alloy bat as the plain Vibe. Pick the look you like and the size you need.

What is the warranty? Every Vibe, baseball or slowpitch, carries a one-year manufacturer warranty. A demo or floor-model bat is sold without warranty and is marked as such in the size list.

Should I buy the older model or the 2026? The 2024 and 2025 baseball Vibes are the same VXP alloy and ringless barrel as the newest paint; when they are marked down they are the value buy. On the slowpitch side the 2026 models introduce the CompStax and V1.2 barrels, so there the newer bat is a genuinely different bat.

How do I size a Vibe? Length first, then drop. A 27" to 29" bat covers most 7 to 9 year olds, 30" to 31" covers 10 to 12, and BBCOR players run 31" to 34". Slowpitch Vibes are 34" only; choose the weight by how end-loaded you want the swing to feel.
