Description
The Dub is Easton's double-barrel play: a thin, low-compression outer barrel that flexes across its entire length, wrapped around an inner barrel that holds performance right at the USSSA limit. The result is the lowest barrel compression in the USSSA space — that broken-in composite feel and sound from the first bucket. The 2027 Darkside edition adds DUBLVZN graphics: an ultra-chrome top layer that wears away with every swing to reveal the design underneath. Your bat literally shows its work. The -5 is the power drop — a 13U/14U bat with BBCOR prep built in. Available in 30"/25oz, 31"/26oz, 32"/27oz. It carries the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp required for travel and tournament ball.

FAQ
Is the color-changing decal legal for USSSA play?
Yes. The DUBLVZN reveal is by design and has been reviewed and approved by USSSA, which has instructed umpires not to remove the bat solely because its graphics are changing. The 1.15 BPF mark, serial number and model name are not affected and stay legible. If loose flakes remain, brush them off before play; normal umpire discretion on bat condition still applies.
Does the changing graphic affect performance?
No. Only the chrome Dub and Darkside decal on the front of the bat wears away with hits to reveal the red graphics underneath. It is purely cosmetic and has no effect on performance, structural integrity, or certification.
Can I scratch the chrome off with keys or a coin?
Don't. Only normal ball contact should reveal the red logo — wear patterns vary bat to bat. Using keys, coins, or sharp objects to scratch it off may void the warranty.
Is this bat legal for my league?
It carries the USSSA 1.15 BPF certification stamp — legal in USSSA-sanctioned travel ball and other leagues that follow the USSSA standard. Always confirm this model against your league's current approved-bat list before game day.
What size should I get?
Size for bat speed first — a bat you can swing quickly beats a heavier one you drag through the zone. If you're between sizes, most players do better with the shorter/lighter option.
