USA vs USSSA vs BBCOR: USA Baseball (the USABat stamp) is Little League and most rec leagues. USSSA (1.15 BPF thumbprint) is travel/select ball — hotter barrels, not legal in USA leagues. BBCOR (.50) is high school and college. They are not interchangeable; check what your league requires before buying.
The Genie is a starting point. Length comes from age, height and weight; drop from age and strength. A player who has to muscle the bat should go lighter or shorter; a strong hitter can go a size up.
