2024 Mizuno B24 Hot Metal Youth USSSA Baseball Bat -10oz 340643
Description
The Hot Metal -10 gives a young USSSA hitter the same barrel technology as Mizuno's BBCOR: a one-piece, single-wall bat in Hot Metal alloy — a stronger aluminum that lets Mizuno thin the walls for more pop — with CorTech varying the wall thickness across the barrel to widen the sweet spot and lower the swing weight. For a 9- to 11-year-old that combination matters more than it does for a high schooler: a wider sweet spot forgives the mis-hits that come with learning, and a lower M.O.I. means a kid can swing a 2 3/4" barrel without the bat swinging him.
The optimized end cap adds a bigger sweet spot and Mizuno's loud contact sound, and the Speed-Helix grip helps set the hands. Sizes run 26" through 31" in grey and orange, USSSA-stamped, with a one-year Mizuno warranty. The -10 is the drop for players stepping into big-barrel kid pitch.
