Description
The Avenge Pro -5 is Axe's two-piece composite for the 13U and 14U USSSA years, when the rules call for a -5. The barrel is Axe's Charged Carbon+ composite built with Triflex Blastwall: two C-shaped slip planes inside the barrel wall that let it flex at contact. It joins the handle through Axe's Shock Suspension vibration-cancelling connection, with Endogrid under the bottom hand and a HyperWhip composite cap on the end. The swing is end-loaded.
The youth Axe handle is the asymmetric, axe-shaped knob scaled down for young hands. Axe designs it to give more speed, control and comfort by seating the bottom hand the same way on every swing. On a -5, where the bat is getting heavier, that consistency helps. 2 5/8" barrel, USSSA 1.15 BPF (NTS), sizes 30" to 32", black, white and red, one-year Axe warranty. Closeout — one each of 30", 31" and 32" left.
