Description
This is Axe's 2022 Avenge Pro Hybrid BBCOR fitted with the Power Axe handle. Axe builds it as a two-piece hybrid. The barrel is variable-wall MX8 Alloy+, which Axe describes as its strongest alloy, heat-treated and weighted for a barrel-heavy feel. It joins a lightweight composite handle that adds whip and cuts vibration. The connection is Axe's Shock Suspension system, Endogrid under the bottom hand damps whatever gets past it, and a HyperWhip composite cap finishes the barrel. The swing is end-loaded.
The Power Axe handle is why this model is listed on its own. It keeps the Axe knob but curves the back of the handle where it meets the knob; Axe offers it for hitters looking for speed plus power. 2 5/8" barrel, -3, BBCOR .50 certified for high school and college (also legal for Little League Intermediate and Junior), red and black, one-year Axe warranty.
