The Ghost Advanced is the two-piece flagship of the Easton Ghost family. It runs Easton's Double Barrel 3 construction, the third generation of the nested inner-and-outer barrel that gives every Ghost its sweet spot and sound, in Sonic Comp Max, Easton's highest-performing composite. The handle joins the barrel through the ConneXion piece, so it is a little softer at contact and easier on the hands than the one-piece Ghost Unlimited.

What is here: 2024 and 2026 models in -8, -9, -10 and -11, plus the numbered 2026 Spring Break edition in -10 and -11. The -10 and -11 are balanced; the -8 and -9 are end-loaded and put the most mass through the zone of any Ghost. Lengths run 29" to 34". Every model is stamped for USA Softball (ASA), USSSA, NSA, ISA and WBSC. Prices run from about $300 for a 2024 to about $500 for a 2026.

Ghost Advanced versus the other Ghosts

The Advanced sits between the Ghost OG and the Ghost Unlimited. Compared with the OG it gets the newer Double Barrel 3 layup and Sonic Comp Max; compared with the Unlimited it keeps the two-piece ConneXion joint, so it has a softer, more forgiving feel at contact where the Unlimited is stiff and direct. It is also the only Ghost that comes in a true end-loaded build: the -8 and -9 Advanced are made for power hitters and swing noticeably heavier than the -10.

The 2024 Advanced and the 2026 Advanced share the same barrel construction and composite. The 2026 adds the Spring Break limited colorway with an individually numbered run.

Frequently asked questions

Which drop should I get? -11 if bat speed is the priority or the player is smaller; -10 for most travel and high school hitters; -9 or -8 only for a strong hitter who wants a heavier barrel.

Does it need to be broken in? No. Sonic Comp Max is a low-compression composite built to perform out of the wrapper.

Is the 2024 worth buying over the 2026? If the size is there, yes. Same Double Barrel 3, same Sonic Comp Max, about $200 less.

Is it approved for my league? It carries USA Softball (ASA), USSSA, NSA, ISA and WBSC stamps, which covers high school, travel and college.
