The Ghost NX puts Easton's biggest fastpitch name on a glove built for the fastpitch hand. Patterns are cut for the 12" ball with a softball-deep pocket and a narrower, female-fit hand opening, and the leather is Diamond Pro Steer USA that Easton ships game-ready, so there is no month of mallet work. A Flex Notch makes it easy to squeeze from day one, the Quantum Closure back adjusts the wrist, and the Ax Suede microfiber lining keeps the glove light.

What is here: 11.5" and 11.75" infield gloves with the Pro I web, 12" and 12.5" do-everything gloves with the basket web, 12.75" and 13" outfield gloves with the Pro H web, and a 34" catcher's mitt, in white-and-silver and the standard look, plus a matching backpack. Which Ghost NX size

Infielders take the 11.5" or 11.75" for a shallow pocket and quick transfer. The 12" and 12.5" basket-web gloves are the safe pick for a player who moves around; the closed basket also hides a pitcher's grip. Outfielders take the 12.75" or 13" Pro H for reach and a deep pocket. The 34" mitt is a receiving pattern built for catchers. Every glove is the same price, so pick by position rather than budget.

The backpack is the matching bag, in charcoal, white and stars and stripes.

Frequently asked questions

Is it really game-ready? Yes. Diamond Pro Steer leather with the Flex Notch closes easily out of the box. You may want a few catches to set the pocket, but no mallet or oil is needed.

Ghost NX or Professional Collection? The Professional Collection uses Premium Reserve steerhide that is stiffer, longer-lasting and about double the price. The NX is the better buy for a player who wants to use it this weekend.

Left-hand throw? The 12", 12.5" and 13" come in left-hand throw; the infield sizes and the mitt are right-hand throw only.

Is this a men's glove pattern? No. The hand opening is cut narrower for a female hand, and the pocket is set for the 12" ball.
