Description
The Youth pattern at 10.5" is a true do-everything glove — deep enough for the grass, controlled enough for the dirt. The closed basket web forms a deep, secure pocket — favored by pitchers hiding grips and players who want the ball to stay caught. Rawlings designed the Sure Catch around the one thing young players actually struggle with: closing the glove. The heel cutout takes the fight out of the squeeze while the all-leather shell keeps a real pocket. Underneath: a pro soft leather shell, Cushioned Finger Linings lining, a neo-flex back with velcro strap back. Cut on a youth pro taper fit. For the 6-to-10 age band, an easy close beats every other spec. Available in right- and left-hand throw.

Is 10.5" the right size?
10.5" is an utility pattern. As a guide: infield 11.25" to 11.75", pitcher and utility 11.75" to 12", outfield 12.5" to 12.75", catcher's mitts 32" to 34", first base 12.5" to 13". Buy the size that fits now, not the one to grow into.
