StringKing's Metal and Metal Pro are one-piece aluminum alloy bats sold at an entry-level price. The Metal is the base bat: stiff, connected feel and a maximized sweet spot. The Metal Pro uses premium alloy and tighter manufacturing for longer-lasting performance, and the Metal 2 and Metal 2 Pro BBCOR take the same alloy as the original Metal Pro through an overhauled manufacturing process, with the 2 Pro being the highest-grade materials StringKing has put in a bat.

On the rack are the Metal 2 and Metal 2 Pro BBCOR -3, the Metal Pro USSSA -10, the Metal and Metal Pro USA Baseball -10, and a Metal slowpitch bat stamped USA Softball (ASA). Sizes are limited, so check the listing. Prices run from about $67 to $200.

StringKing Metal Pro Bats

StringKing's naming is straightforward. Metal is the base alloy; Pro means better alloy and tighter build; 2 means the second-generation manufacturing process. The Metal 2 Pro BBCOR is the best of the group and still costs less than most brands' base BBCOR bats. All are one-piece alloy, so there is no break-in and they play the same from the first swing to the last.

The USA Baseball Metal and Metal Pro are 2 5/8" barrel -10 bats certified for every USA Bat association. The USSSA Metal Pro is a 2 3/4" barrel -10. The slowpitch Metal is a 34"/28 oz alloy bat with a USA Softball (ASA) stamp for rec-league play.
