All Star Top Star Baseball Catcher's Mitt 33.5" CM-TS-A — Premium steerhide, 33.5" catcher pattern, right- or left-hand throw.
Description
The Top Star is the mitt All Star builds for the seasoned travel-ball catcher, and the 33.5" is its adult pattern. It's made from durable, premium tanned steerhide that gives the feel, comfort and signature sound All Star mitts are known for, with premium lacing and 360 dual stitching to handle the extra innings a travel schedule brings.
Behind the plate, the built-in index-finger flexpad and Pro Guard Padding in the palm are what let a catcher handle extra velocity and movement. An extended pocket and an adjustable wrist closure fit it to the player. Black and tan, stocked in right-hand throw.

How much break-in does it need?
Some. Premium steerhide is firmer than a starter mitt, so plan on a couple of weeks of catch and bullpens to form the pocket. Work it by hand and with a mallet, and skip the oven.
Is 33.5" the right size?
33.5" is All Star's adult Top Star pattern, right for most catchers 13 and up. Younger catchers are usually in the 31.5" youth Top Star.
