The MFF900 is Mizuno's adult fielder's mask in the L/XL fit. The cage is 3.5 mm steel — heavy enough to take a line drive, open enough that you forget it's there — with a matte finish that doesn't throw glare into your eyes on a day game. Mizuno redesigned the strapping for this generation: the chin cup adjusts and pops off, and the whole mask goes on and comes off in one motion, which matters when you're the pitcher and the inning just ended. PE foam pads sit where the mask meets your face.
