Pro Select sits directly under the Japanese-made Mizuno Pro line, and the fastpitch models use softball-specific patterns built around the 12" ball — deeper pockets and wider webs than their baseball counterparts. The shell is premium steerhide, stiff enough to hold its shape through a season but tanned for a quicker break-in than a top-line glove.
These are gamers for travel and college players who have outgrown a soft entry glove and want a pattern that will still be the same shape in year three.
