Players Brand Pro Infield Travel Trainer Glove 9.5" PBTGTR950BKRHT — a full-leather infield training glove from Players Brand Pro (PBPro): a 9.5" pattern with an I web, cut small on purpose so the ball has to be caught in the pocket with two hands and moved to the throwing hand fast. Right-hand throw.
Description
A training glove is a small glove that punishes lazy hands. There is no room to snag a ball in the web and no length to reach for it, so an infielder learns to get the feet and the glove to the ball, field it out front in the pocket and transfer with the throwing hand already on the way. The Travel Trainer is the size a coach hands a player for pre-game rounds and infield drills, then takes back before the first pitch.
At 9.5" this is the tighter of the two PBPro trainer sizes — the drill glove for serious middle infielders and for anyone whose transfer is slower than their feet.
