Rawlings Encore Catcher's Mitt 32" ECCM32-23BW — Rawlings' Encore series puts a visible piece of technology into an all-leather glove: an extended web base and reinforced palm pad that take the sting out of the ball, and a pocket shaped so the fingers close around the web. This is the 32" catcher's mitt in white and black with gold lacing. Right-hand throw.

The Encore sits between Rawlings' value gloves and the Heart of the Hide line: full-leather shell and palm, a conventional back with a pull-lace adjustable hand opening, and padded fingerback liners so the glove feels broken-in sooner. Rawlings ships it about 65% game-ready — a couple of weeks of catch finishes the job, and the shape holds once it is set.
The mitt is a conventional-back 32" pattern with a one-piece closed web: a deep, well-defined pocket that closes on a pitch and keeps it. The bolstered palm base is what makes the Encore mitt comfortable through a full bullpen — less sting on the hand than a plain leather catcher's mitt at this price.
