Description

Rawlings Gold Glove Club REV1X 11.75" — The May 2025 "Flame" Release

Rawlings Gold Glove Club REV1X 11.75" Baseball Glove REV205-2BO — Rawlings' lightest pro glove: steer-hide palm, synthetic back, 3D-printed lattice stabilizers. 11.75" 205 pattern, Pro H web, Black / Orange Flame.

Description

REV1X is the glove Rawlings built with Francisco Lindor when it decided a pro glove did not have to weigh what a pro glove has always weighed. The palm is U.S. steer-hide — the same leather as Heart of the Hide — but the back is a synthetic shell, and the thumb and pinky carry 3D-printed lattice stabilizers in place of the traditional padding. The result is a glove that is dramatically lighter than a leather-backed pro model, holds its shape without stuffing, and fits like it was made for your hand thanks to the adaptive-fit back.

The May 2025 Gold Glove Club release: a black synthetic back with an orange flame print, orange steer-hide palm and orange lacing. One-month production window — when these are gone they are gone.

The Gold Glove Club is the official glove program of Major League Baseball — one limited release per month in a colorway that never returns. See the current releases in the Glove of the Month collection.

Steer-Hide Palm, Synthetic Back, 3D-Printed Stabilizers

The palm and web are U.S. steer-hide, so the ball feels exactly like it does in a Heart of the Hide. The back is a lightweight synthetic shell with an adaptive-fit closure that snugs to the hand, and the thumb and pinky use precision-tuned lattice inserts instead of stuffing — less weight, the same stiffness where the glove needs it.

11.75" 205 Pattern

The 205 is Rawlings' 11.75" third-base and utility pattern: a touch more pocket than the 11.5" middle-infield shapes so hard-hit balls stay put, still quick enough to turn two.

Pro H Web

The Pro H web keeps the outfield tradition — two uprights and a bar, strong on the ball and open enough to track a fly ball through it.

Who This Glove Is Built For

Best for:

  • Third basemen and utility infielders who want a pro-pattern glove that weighs noticeably less than a leather-backed model
  • Players who never quite got comfortable with a stiff, heavy break-in — REV1X is game-ready faster

Consider a different glove if:

  • You throw left-handed — this model is right-hand throw only
  • You want an all-leather traditional glove — see Heart of the Hide
  • You play a different position — the REV1X collection covers 11.5" through 12.75"

FAQ

How much lighter is a REV1X than a leather glove?

Noticeably — the synthetic back and lattice stabilizers take a big share of the weight out of a pro-size glove. Put one next to a Heart of the Hide in the same pattern and the difference is obvious in the hand.

Does the synthetic back hold up?

Yes. The parts of the glove that take the ball — palm, web, pocket — are steer-hide. The back never touches the ball, so making it synthetic saves weight without changing how the glove wears where it matters.

Is this the right pattern for my position?

The 205 is Rawlings' 11.75" third-base and utility pattern: a touch more pocket than the 11.5" middle-infield shapes so hard-hit balls stay put, still quick enough to turn two.. For other positions, browse the REV1X collection.
