The PRODCTCB is a 13" Heart of the Hide first base mitt in a classic camel and black colorway that honors the history of the game. Its DCT pattern delivers the wide profile and roomy pocket professional first basemen prefer, while the single-post, double-bar web and reinforced construction make picking balls out of the dirt a breeze. Built from top-grade US steerhide with a deer-tanned cowhide palm lining, soft full-grain fingerback padding, pro-grade leather laces, and a padded thumb sleeve — the same quality big leaguers have trusted for more than fifty years.

How much break-in does it need?
Two to four weeks of catch — this is pro-grade leather that is stiff on purpose and holds its pocket for years. A little glove conditioner on the pocket and laces helps; skip the oven, microwave and shaving cream.
Is 13" the right size?
13" is a first base pattern. As a guide: infield 11.25" to 11.75", pitcher and utility 11.75" to 12", outfield 12.5" to 12.75", catcher's mitts 32" to 34", first base 12.5" to 13". Buy the size that fits now, not the one to grow into.
