Heart of the Hide is the glove most pros actually wear: a shell cut from the top 5% of Rawlings' US steerhide, a deer-tanned cowhide palm lining, Tennessee Tanning rawhide laces and true pro patterns. It comes stiffer than an R9 or a Liberty Advanced and rewards a real break-in with a pocket that holds its shape for years.
32.5" and 33" are the quicker sizes most amateur catchers end up in; 33.5" and 34" give a bigger target and deeper pocket for blocking and for catching harder throwers.
