Liberty Advanced is Rawlings' step-up fastpitch glove: a full-grain leather shell and palm, Poron XRD palm padding that takes the sting out of a hard-hit ball, and the Pull-Strap adjustable wrist so the glove sits snug on a smaller hand. Pockets are cut for the 12" softball rather than a baseball, and it arrives about 80% broken in — ready for practice on day one and a gamer within a couple of weeks.
A 13" first base mitt: no individual finger stalls, a long scooping edge for picking short hops out of the dirt, and a wide, shallow pocket that lets you find the ball fast on a stretch.
