The Liberty Advanced is one of fastpitch's long-running favorites: full-grain leather with the custom-fit Poron XRD palm padding and the deep, forgiving pockets that made the Liberty name — built for the fastpitch player who wants a glove that lasts past one team. This one is the 200 pattern at 12" — a true do-everything glove — deep enough for the grass, controlled enough for the dirt. The Pro I web gives infielders the fast, shallow-pocket transfer the position demands. Underneath: a full grain leather shell, Deer-Tanned Cowhide lining, a conventional back. A fastpitch standard for a reason. Available right-hand throw only.

How much break-in does it need?
A few days of catch. The leather is pre-conditioned and most players are gaming it within a week.
Is 12" the right size?
12" is an utility pattern. As a guide: infield 11.25" to 11.75", pitcher and utility 11.75" to 12", outfield 12.5" to 12.75", catcher's mitts 32" to 34", first base 12.5" to 13". Fastpitch patterns run a quarter inch bigger than baseball for the 12" ball. Buy the size that fits now, not the one to grow into.
Do you have it in left-hand throw?
This model is stocked in right-hand throw only. Wherever Rawlings makes a left-hand version we list it as a separate Hand option.
