Marucci Code Bats

(5 products)

The Marucci Code is a one-piece alloy built from AZ75 alloy, a performance aluminum chosen for all-season durability. It uses Marucci's multi-variable wall design to widen the sweet spot and the second-generation AV2 anti-vibration knob, a harmonically tuned dampening system that cuts negative feedback on mishits. The feel is mid-balanced, a medium M.O.I. that suits a wide range of hitters rather than just power or just contact guys.

The rack has BBCOR -3 in 30" to 34", USSSA 2 3/4" youth in -10, -8 and -5 (one listing, pick your drop and length), a USA Baseball -10, and a 2 3/4" Junior Big Barrel for coach pitch, in 2025 models. Prices run from about $70 to $200.

The Code sits between the F5 and the CAT bats; the CAT 9 and CATX closeouts are the next step. See all Marucci baseball bats, Marucci USA bats, or coach pitch bats.

Marucci Code Bats

Why the Code is the middle of Marucci's alloy line

The Code gives you two things the F5 doesn't: the AZ75 alloy and the AV2 knob. AZ75 holds up across a season of cold-weather practices and a stiff one-piece build gives direct energy transfer and a clean impact sound. The AV2 knob is the same second-generation harmonic dampener the CAT 9 uses, so the Code is friendlier on the hands than most bats at its price. The mid-balanced swing is versatile; it isn't tuned for a specific type of hitter.

The Junior Big Barrel Code brings that alloy to 25" to 27" lengths for coach-pitch players, where the big 2 3/4" barrel helps young hitters square the ball up while their mechanics develop.

Frequently asked questions

What certifications does the Code carry? BBCOR .50 on the -3, USSSA 1.15 BPF on the youth and junior big barrel, and the USA Baseball stamp on the -10 USA model.

Which drop for USSSA? -10 for most 7 to 11 year olds, -8 for 11U and 12U, -5 for strong 13U hitters.

Does it need a break-in? No. One-piece alloy is ready on the first swing.

Code or F5? Same balanced, one-piece idea. The Code adds AZ75 alloy and the AV2 knob for a bit more money; if sting bothers your player, get the Code.
