Miken Senior Softball Bats

(5 products)

Miken's senior softball bats are the Ultra Gamer series, built for SSUSA and ISA senior leagues where bat performance limits are looser than in USSSA or USA Softball. The 2026 Ultra Gamer uses E-Flex 360+ barrel technology with C-4 carbon fiber on a two-piece frame with a Super Flex handle, and it comes in Maxload, Supermax and Balanced versions plus two signature models: the Johnny Bailey (12" barrel, Maxload) and the Mike Dill (13.5" barrel, Balanced).

Everything here is 34" in 25 to 28 oz, stamped SSUSA and ISA, and carries a one-year manufacturer warranty. Prices run from about $200 to $250, with 2025 and 2026 models on the rack.

The full senior lineup across brands is in senior softball bats; the Ultra has its own page at Miken Ultra bats; and if you play USSSA rather than senior ball, the Miken Freak is the bat to look at.

Miken Senior Softball Bats

Picking a senior Miken

Senior bats are tuned to a higher performance ceiling than USSSA bats, which is why they are not legal outside SSUSA and ISA senior play. Within the Miken line, the choice comes down to load and barrel length. The Maxload (.5 oz) 13.5" is the bat most senior players should start with. The Supermax (1 oz) is for the strongest hitters who already swing 27 or 28 oz. The Mike Dill Balanced is for the contact hitter who wants the fastest possible swing. The Johnny Bailey trims the barrel to 12" for a compact, quick-hands swing with the Maxload end weight, and it is available as a 2026 two-piece or a 2025 one-piece.

Frequently asked questions

What does SSUSA mean on the bat? Senior Softball USA, the sanctioning body for 50-and-over play. Miken's senior bats carry that stamp plus ISA. They are not USSSA or USA Softball (ASA) bats.

Does a senior bat need a break-in? Yes, like any composite: 100 to 200 hits, rotating the bat a quarter turn between swings, and keep it out of cold weather.

Which weight? 26 oz suits most senior hitters. Go 25 oz for bat speed, 27 or 28 oz only if you swing that weight comfortably already; the Supermax starts at 26 oz.

What is the warranty? One year from Miken on every model.
