The Victus Nova Lit is a two-piece composite USSSA bat. The barrel is Carbon Eclipse Composite, high-performance carbon fiber reinforcement inside an impact-resistant outer layer, laid up in an XL profile for an XL sweet spot. Dynamic Handle Technology (DHT) balances flex and stiffness at the connection so the bat feels responsive without sending vibration into the hands on mis-hits. It is a balanced swing built for travel-ball hitters who want bat speed and a big, forgiving barrel.

The 2026 Nova Lit comes in -10, -8 and -5, and there is a limited-edition Beacon colorway, Statue of Liberty inspired, in the same three drops on the same platform. Every size is $349.99 and carries a one-year manufacturer warranty. USSSA 1.15 BPF only; there is no BBCOR or USA Nova.

Victus built its metal reputation on one-piece alloys; the Nova Lit is the two-piece composite that fills the top of the USSSA line. Carbon Eclipse Composite gives the barrel its pop and the outer layer keeps it durable through a season, while DHT handles the feel at the joint. The balanced weighting is what makes it the right pick for a younger hitter: the -10 is quick and manageable for a player still building swing mechanics, the -8 suits a stronger 11 to 12 year old, and the -5 is for the 13U player who will be on a BBCOR next year.

The Beacon is not a different bat, just a limited paint run in patriotic colors. If the size you want is in stock in both, buy the look you prefer.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Nova Lit need a break-in? It is a composite barrel, so give it a couple hundred swings off a tee, rotating the bat a quarter turn each time, before you judge the pop. Do not use it in cold weather.

Is it legal for my league? The Nova Lit carries the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp for travel ball. USSSA 14U plays BBCOR from 2026 on, so a 14U player needs a BBCOR bat instead.

What is the warranty? One year from Victus.

How do I size it? A 28" to 29" covers most 8 to 10 year olds, 30" to 31" most 10 to 12 year olds, and the -5 runs 30" to 32" for older travel-ball players.
