The Victus Nox is a two-piece hybrid: a military-grade aluminum alloy barrel on a carbon composite handle. The current Nox 2 keeps the ringless, multi-variable-wall barrel for a more flexible sweet spot and joins it to a pro-tapered composite handle with the 2SIX connection, two rings at the joint that kill the sting an alloy barrel normally sends to the hands. It is the Victus bat for a hitter who wants alloy pop with a two-piece feel, and the BBCOR version is end-loaded for the power hitter.

On the rack you will find the Nox 2 in BBCOR -3 and USSSA -10, -8 and -5, plus closeout 2022 first-generation Nox bats in BBCOR and all three USSSA drops. Prices run from about $86 to $300, with the closeouts at the bottom of that range.

Nox versus Nox 2

The original Nox was Victus's first hybrid: a carbon composite handle under a military-grade aluminum barrel, built for travel-ball players who wanted to hit the ball harder on both good contact and mis-hits. The Nox 2 keeps that layout and adds the ringless barrel with multi-variable wall thickness and the 2SIX two-ring connection, which is where the reduction in hand sting comes from. If you are choosing between the two, the closeout 2022 Nox is the cheaper way into a Victus hybrid; the Nox 2 is the better-feeling bat.

The BBCOR Nox 2 is end-loaded, so it suits a high school hitter who already swings a heavier bat comfortably. The USSSA Nox 2 comes in -10 for most 9 to 11 year olds, -8 for a stronger 11 to 12 year old, and -5 for the 13U player moving toward BBCOR.

Frequently asked questions

Does a hybrid bat need a break-in? No. The barrel is alloy, so it is at full performance from the first swing. The composite handle is there for feel and vibration control, not for pop.

Is the Nox legal for USSSA in 2026? The USSSA Nox bats carry the 1.15 BPF stamp for travel ball. Note that USSSA 14U moved to BBCOR in 2026, so a 14U player should be looking at the BBCOR Nox 2 instead.

What is the warranty? One year from the manufacturer on the current Nox 2 and on the closeout 2022 models. Closeout means last year's paint, not a used or blemished bat.

Nox or Vandal? The Nox is two-piece with an end-loaded BBCOR; the Vandal is one-piece alloy with a composite end cap and an ultra-balanced swing. Power hitter, Nox. Contact and bat speed, Vandal.
