Description
Description
The bat that brings big-barrel Icon magic to USA leagues.
2026 Rawlings Icon USA Baseball Bat RUS6I8 -8oz
Description
Rawlings didn’t just down-tune the Icon for USA—they rebuilt it from the ground up to dominate the standard. The 2026 Icon –8oz delivers that signature seamless composite barrel, Zero Loss collar, and a massive sweet spot that feels illegally hot… while staying 100% USA-legal. Out of the wrapper it’s already flexing, popping, and turning good swings into no-doubt gap shots. Blacked-out cosmetics with electric red accents make it look as mean as it performs. One cut in the cage and every kid on the team is asking, “Can I hit with that?”
This bat is part of the Icon line; shop the rest of our Rawlings USA baseball bats, everything on the Rawlings baseball bats page, or compare across brands — see all USA baseball bats.
Seamless In/Tense Carbon Composite Barrel
Multi-layer construction tuned for USA performance with elite trampoline and zero dead spots.
Zero Loss Technology Collar
Reinforced connection eliminates sting and maximizes energy transfer on every swing.
Extended 2 5/8" Barrel
One of the largest legal sweet spots in USA Baseball—forgiving and ferocious.
RevGrip Premium Handle
Ultra-tacky, cushioned grip that feels glued to your palms from the first swing.
USA Baseball Certified
Stamped and approved for Little League, Pony, AABC, Babe Ruth, Dixie Youth, and all USA play.
Key Features
- Balanced –8oz Swing Weight – Perfect blend of bat speed and barrel mass for rising power hitters who still need quick hands.
Who This Bat Is Built For
The advanced youth player who’s outgrown basic USA bats and wants the same Icon performance the travel ball kids brag about. The 11U–13U hitter who’s adding strength every month and needs a bat that keeps up. If your kid is starting to turn on inside pitches and pepper the pull-side fence, this –8oz Icon is the rocket fuel they’ve been waiting for. One BP session and it becomes “their” bat—no negotiations.
Best for:
- Little League and USABat-league players
- Players sized for a -8 drop — lighter drops favor bat speed, heavier drops favor power

FAQ
Is this bat legal for my league?
It carries the USA Baseball certification stamp — the standard used by Little League, Cal Ripken, Babe Ruth, PONY, AABC and other USABat leagues. Always confirm this model against your league's current approved-bat list before game day.
What size should I get?
Size for bat speed first — a bat you can swing quickly beats a heavier one you drag through the zone. If you're between sizes, most players do better with the shorter/lighter option.
Is it covered by a warranty?
Yes — a full 1 year Rawlings manufacturer warranty against breakage and defects, honored through us as an authorized dealer.
